Estonian YouthBand competition starts with demo round on the 1th of September. Registration form and detailed information soon. Demo round ends on 30th of september.

The competition is open to all the bands that meet following terms:
- operating in Estonia
- do not yet have manager, publishing or recording contract
- members are under 26 of age during the time of YouthBand contest
- live performance consists of at least two persons
- live performance consists of at least two live instruments and / or vocals.

Band that has reached the national final in two years can not participate on third year.

Registration deadline is 1th of October, later arrived demos are not taken into account for this years competition!

The contest will take place in four stages:

Demo round
Juri selects 32 bands from all recieved demos to preliminary rounds

4 preliminary concert rounds (4x8 bands)

2 semifinals (2x5 bands)

National final (5 bands)

Based on demo songs 32 bands are selected for 4 preliminary concert rounds (8 bands in each location) from where 8 bands will get called to semifinals based on jury's decision and 2 based on fan vote.

From 2 semifinal concerts 4 bands get called to national final concert based on jury's votes and 1 based on delfi public voting.

Jury consists of professional musicians, producers, music critics and artists.

Besides playing skills and musicality also other sides of performance are considered on evaluation like communication with the audience and stage appearance .
